4.0 - Why wont it let me record? Not getting a signal! -ACID Product Family

Subject:4.0 - Why wont it let me record? Not getting a signal! Posted by: mattguitaristsf Date:12/16/2002 9:06:43 PM Everything is plugged in the way it should be but when I click on the record button, the sound level meters show nothing coming through! Is my connection not right or is there a wrong recording option that needs to be changed in order for it to work? Any advice will help.

Reply by: skot Date:12/17/2002 11:27:37 AM Fisrt of all you could help us to help you by telling wether your trying to record audio or midi ? im trying to record auio myself but getting little joy to but hopefully this will be resolved with the 4.0b that im downloading!! well asuming your trying to record a softsynth ~((bare with me all from memorey)) when the diolog box opens for record choose midi!Then at the bottom of the box on the left hand side click monitor at the very bottom of the screen in a drop down menu choose your sound card from the list!then all should be well! as long as youve set your sound card up in the options menu!
