Subject:problem using Absynth in Acid

Absynth shows up in the list of synths, but if I try to insert it, the default DLS synth shows up instead and also replaces Absynth in the list of synths.

anybody else had that problem?
should I try to reinstall?
i have the latest versions of both s/w.
