Will there be any kind of introductory pricing for existing customers. If so, I'll wait until I get an email with a promotional code. Otherwise, I'll probably go ahead and purchase it.

Thanks,

Paul

Joel,

I love the Envelope flip as a feature - but I'd like:

a) to be able to use it on any type of automation envelope (ie fx parameter automation)
b) to use it on the part of the envelope that falls within the loop region on the timeline (in otherwords, choose the Envelope Tool, select a loop region and flip the selected tracks' envelope points that fall within the region)

c) I'd like to be able to hold down a key (Ctrl?) and move pairs of points horizontally (in time) with out changing the vertical position. At the moment you can only move them vertically with no time shift. Perhaps when using the Envelope tool the numpad keys '4' and '6' could shift the envelope left/right on the timeline, as with audio/midi events when using the Normal Editing Tool?

Thanks V.Much for (still!) listening

Mike -
you can already move envelope points horizontally. Use the Envelope tool, make a selection around the envelope points you want to move (until they all have a white interior) and then click and drag one of them to the right or left. They should all move.

Charlesdem

-Thanks, I did know that. But you have to be really carefull to keep the vertical position the same when moving left or right (unless you have a REALLY steady hand!)Specifically I'd like to move them horizontally WITHOUT any vertical shift.

You would end up with three movement modes:

1) UP and DOWN (as currently when you grab the line between two points)
2) FREE MOVEMENT (as currently when you have multiple points selected in a region)
3) LEFT and RIGHT - say by holding down CTRL.

And to further this, numpad 4&6 could move/nudge the highlighted points left and right, and 2&8 could move(+/-1db)/nudge(+/-0.1db) the selected points up and down.

The 5.1 encoder worked for me and I was able to import it into my DVD authoring program. So far so good for my needs....
