I replaced a one shot with a one shot and acid loaded the replacment as a loop.

the original file was a recorded one shot of mine
the replacment was a short kick sample


i loaded other short samples and they loaded as one shots...what up?

right click on the track (..well the box on the left where u choose everything) and press "properties" then u can change it to loop/oneshot/beatmapped

hopefull this with my no knowledge of terms helps

Seems I remember there's a setting in Options where you can change the length of files that are automatically loaded as loops.

Also seems to me that, with the original 4.0, you could right-click on a file in Explorer and select how you wanted it to load. That's gone in 4.0a. I wouldn't mind seeing that feature restored. It was handy.

i wonder if its a bug that acid loads replacments of similar files differently
