The settings Edirol Orchestral VST plugin not saved in my Acid song files. It's not a huge deal, I can load a saved program from the Orchestral plugin, but it is inconvenient. Does anyone know a way around this? If not, which program is at fault?

So far Orchestral is the only VSTi that "I've" use that I had to do this, Im guessing its because you can assn. up to 16 midi tracks to this one VSTi. Try this insert a Patch, Bank, Vol and Pan at the start of each midi track assign to Orchestral. It worked for me with 4.0a.

I have the same issue with Edirol Orchestra VST in Cubase, so this is most likely an Edirol issue.
