1)Make sure your not distorting the input.
2)Make sure your latency isn't set to low.

Try those first.

look for my post on clicks in the vegas audio forum...

no one has real ansewrs....

it depends on your sound card , system, and software....so each manuafacturer blames the other...

make sure your soundcard is on its own irq, minimize background operations,

I actually had some improvment after a month of hell, it turned out to be some leftover video drivers....i think
