Can anyone point me in the rite direction to some really good atmospheric samples i.e the sound of the ocean(waves) rustling wind birds that sort of stuff ! ive searched just about every link i have got but, to no avail! also if these samples were free that would also be cool!

Don't know if you've looked there or not.
Personally I think that a SoFo CD of these things would be very appealing. Maybe 1 minute long ambient loops of waves, wind, birds, streams, etc. would be good for making "relaxation" music.

Try www.meanrabbit.com. These are one-shot effects, not loops, but if you're willing to do a little work, they're organized nicely. You'll find that some are of better quality than others, but it's free for the downloading, all nicely zipped up by category.
