Hi, I am trying to compose a song with drums, piano and guitar. I have started this using audio recording. I have the drum loop on 1 layer and this is fine. I then plugged my keyboard into my Audigy line in port and chose to record in Acid. This allowed me to hear the drums in the background so I could record my piano playing with perfect timing. Brilliant - just what I need. HOWEVER ... this creates an audio layer that is the sum of the drums and keyboard together but I only want the piano!! ANy advice much appreciated |

Check the Audigy's mixer settings. Be sure that only "Line In" is selected for recording and not "What U Hear" (or something along that line). HTH, Iacobus |

I had that problem too. Do what Iacobus said, it should solve the problem. |
