is the only way with a volume envelope

crateing a mute with volume evelope across several tracks is a hassle.

pasting in envelope pastes at wrong location

envelope tool works sporadically

You can always route several tracks through a bus and then use a single volume envelope on the bus automation track. (hit 'U' to show these).

What probs are you having with the envelopes in general?

good sugestion,

i dont know, i just tried doing multiple envelopes and acid got way buggy.
