Good afternoon. I'm sure this is a fairly simple question here. I just can't seem to figure it out yet. According to the manual, you can pan individual tracks in AP4 by "right-clicking" on the multi-purpose slider. However, whenever i try to right-click, the only thing that appears is "volume". How can you pan using the multi-purpose slider method? Or is it that you can only pan by inserting panning envelopes?? Does anybody have a clue?? |

http://www.sonicfoundry.com/tutorials/default.asp This is the link for the tutorial page. There are a few tutorials for AP4 that should help you out. Panning is basically volume control. HTH |

Are you sure you didn't misread that? The full manual states just to click on the multipurpose fader mode drop-down menu. Once you click the drop-down, "Pan" should be available. (Be sure to adjust the specific track vertically; the drop-down will disappear if the track is too narrow.) HTH, Iacobus |
