Good afternoon. I'm sure this is a fairly simple question here. I just can't seem to figure it out yet. According to the manual, you can pan individual tracks in AP4 by "right-clicking" on the multi-purpose slider. However, whenever i try to right-click, the only thing that appears is "volume". How can you pan using the multi-purpose slider method? Or is it that you can only pan by inserting panning envelopes?? Does anybody have a clue??

This is the link for the tutorial page. There are a few tutorials for AP4 that should help you out.
Panning is basically volume control.

Are you sure you didn't misread that? The full manual states just to click on the multipurpose fader mode drop-down menu. Once you click the drop-down, "Pan" should be available. (Be sure to adjust the specific track vertically; the drop-down will disappear if the track is too narrow.)
