hello,
im new to all of this so excuse my lack of knowledge. what i want to know is if it is possible to control acid music samples, pre-made or made-on-the-fly it doesnt matter, live with a stomp box like function so i could play guitar while controlling when it starts and when it stops. if this can be done, what all is needed and what all can you control live? i was thinking about a MIDI controller or using an electric piano keyboard and its keys(i know that that isnt a stomp box), but before i can make an educated decision about that i need to understand what excactly a MIDI controller is in the first place :) so any help in that area would be great
if any of my questions are incomplete or dont make sense please let me know because i would really love to impliment acid music to live concerts but i really have no idea how to do so or how i would control it when i got it working.
thanks in advance!

How well do you know Acid?
If the answer is "not much", do you really want to be on stage with it?
I would recommend downloading the demo, and trying that out first.
As far as contolling Acid to stop and start when you want it...you might check out the keyboard short-cuts.
If you're playing guitar at the same time, maybe you could put the computer keyboard on the floor and play barefoot... that way, you just tap the keyboard short-cut with your big toe to stop and start the playback. :)

I believe ACID wasn't really designed for live performance in mind but rather production. Still, you could probably trigger ACID via MIDI—but that's in ACID Pro only, not ACID Music.
