When I record my vocals into ACID Music 3.0 or Sound Forge Studio, the plaback only comes thru one of my monitors. I use the Delta 44 audio card, the Audio Buddy mic preamp and Roland MA-8 monitors. I just want to hear my vocals thru both monitors. Any suggestions? |

I know you can't specifically select a device for output in ACID Music 3.0, but can you select a specific input for recording? It also sounds like one channel is being recorded. How do you have your cables connected to the Delta 44? Iacobus |

I have 4 outputs/4 inputs on the Delta 44. The cables running from my montiors are hooked to outputs 1 & 2 on the Delta 44. My mic has one cable running into input 2 on my AudioBuddy mic preamp. The preamp has one cable running into input 2 on the Delta 44. I'm using stereo cables for the monitors and TRS cables for my mic hook up. Thanks for your help!! |

Ahhh...each input on the Delta 44 represents one channel; inputs 1 and 2, for example, form a stereo pair. Because you're running only one cable from the preamp to input 2 on the Delta 44, you're only recording one channel of audio. The solution? Hook up another mic to the Audio Buddy and output that to input 1 on the Delta 44. You should then be able to record in stereo. HTH, Iacobus |
