Win XP Install -ACID Product Family - MAGIX Community Forums Archive

Horrible experience Jan and Feb of this year for me goin from 98SE to XP Home...2 months of living hell, to put it mildly...if I ever go there again, it'll be a clean install, because nothing, nothing prepared me for that, albeit was blissful for a couple of months tho...techs were up in arms also, and they said why are you even lookin at this..? what's wrong with 98SE.? music apps, right..? they did a clean install of 98SE, said stick with IE5.5sp2 and directX 8.1 for awhile, and you know what..? they still say the same thing..can't say enuf about it, but whenever I bring it up, I'm berated..go figure..good luck and Merry CHristmas..
