Subject:Acid 4.0a Piano Roll Editor grinding to a halt

I was wondering if the rather irritating Piano Roll Editor bug will be fixed with the 4.0b update? The issue I'm refering to is playback in this midi editor grinding to a halt within 5 seconds of starting. It's as though the editor is gobbling cpu cycles like an insatiable Black Daemon of the Underworld. Or something.

I've tried the new Midi Editor from GenieSys, and it does the same thing in it's Piano Roll View. *sigh*

I posted a thread on this and was told by SF that the memory leak would be fixed in b.
