When i first got acid two years ago i use loops, then i suplemented them with my own synth parts. Now i make beats fully on my groovebox but have not come up with a way to put them on acid intelligently. it is hell trying to sync eight parts as loops. my groovbox is not an MC-505 (its the little brother D2) so no direct outs but hey, acids a single tracker anyways. Any Ideas? thanks DJ XSOUNDZ |

Have you tried recording the parts into Acid? |

Sounds like you need to do some monitoring while recording in addition to creating loops once the passages are recorded, either through ACID, Sound Forge, or both. How do you have the D2 connected? Iacobus |

i'm doin it all as one loop because i could never know where the fist beat is otherwise. the d2's connected by a regular RCA to 1/4" jack to my Mia. Maybe i could send the midi to the computer and then when i render play black midi and record through d2???????hmmmmmmm. if only my midi worked. dj xsoundz |

I would record it into Sound Forge (actually I would deive it with SONAR and record it on a new audio track but I have SONAR), trim it to a smooth loop and drop it into Acid. TeeCee |
