Now theirs no need to be abusive. I can download the files to windows using the infared port on the phone and my computer. THE QUESTION WAS COULD SOUNDFORGE CONVERT THESE INTO A USEFUL WINDOWS FORMAT AND VICA VERCA. Now i don't believe that that responce was really justified and if that is what is called a "SUPPORT FORUM"... |

It looks like there's a free decode-only codec for the AMR format available at: http://voiceage.com/products/spotamr-decoder.asp I haven't tried it myself as I have no interest in mobile phones and don't have any suitably encoded files, but assuming this is a well-behaved codec it ought to allow any Windows audio app (including Sound Forge) to open files using this compression format. If you need to encode files to this format too you'll have to buy one of the commercial versions of the codec that are available from the same site, but if you just need to decode them you should be OK with the free one. |
