i am quite new to this program (soundforge) - so if my question is answered already in the archives somewhere, a polite pointer to where i can find the info would be greatly appreciated. at the 11th hour, i have decided to normalize the audio on my premiere 6.02 timeline before i render it to tape. i'm using winxp, on a dell. i believe i have sound forge 6.0 - but i am not at my workstation at the moment. i am having no problems with the normalization process. my question is this. several of my clips were recorded using a sony pd150, which allows for two channels. since the recordings were made in a classroom, i chose to use the lavalier mic which was recorded on channel two. i am wondering how (or if) i can isolate channel two in soundforge (i've managed to swap channels on the premiere timeline, but it still sends out to tape both channels). i'm going to try to mute channel one in premiere before i even export the audio to soundforge for normalization, but i don't know if this will work. if there is a way to do this easily in soundforge, i'd love to do it. thanks for your time, i did have a quick look through the articles, but didn't find anything right off the bat. i'll check back frequently if more info is needed. again, thank you. |

press your left mousebutton and drag it over channel 2, then use the command control C. Then press control N, select mono, press enter and control V. kaisa |
