Plus it has markers that appear in the chopper.Why are the markers in the chopper also, are project markers the ones referenced when checking "embed markers while file"

If you want to record as a One-shot, be sure to uncheck Make new track follow project tempo in the record window. Markers are in the Chopper for reference, just as they are in the project timeline. Those are actually regions you see. They're used to denote the measures the audio was recorded at, which makes it much easier to futz with when creating loops in something like Sound Forge.
