I just noticed that you can assign Sonar (or any other midi sequencer)as an editor, then use it to edit midi sequences without leaving Acid. Is anyone else doing this? This will get me around some of Acid's midi limitations for now. Laurence Kingston |

I've tried to assign Sonar (XL 2.1) to an editing application in Acid. I have noticed some limitations : 1) The MIDI track must be saved first in Acid (Track Properties -> Save File button). Otherwise, no file is loaded when Sonar starts (it's obvious, after all). However, if the modified track is saved in Sonar, it's automatically updated in Acid. 2) If Sonar is already open when it is called from Acid, no file is loaded. Have you noticed that also ? |
