hi" all ,in need of a little help!

can anyone tell me how to take one project and paste elements out of it, and into another project?

i know i could render the track and do it that way but i'd like to still have control for mixing down and getting it just rite!

Have you tried opening up two windows of Acid side by side? I'm not sure if this would work, I'm not at my PC, but maybe opening 2 windows of Acid and doing the Copy/paste.
