Subject:Automated Effects on Busses ?!

hey...i noticed you could add automated effects to the busses / master bus...

acid'll let me choose the parameters which will be automated...but where do i automate them? there should be a new track for that where i can draw the envelopes...but there isnt...

is there any solution to this?!?

Nechromatic,

You need to use Bus Tracks to add and modify the envelopes for these effects. Just hit the U key on your keyboard with your project open to display them. :)

yeah ok cool so that worked...however...when i saved my project n opened it again...the envelopes i set up for the busses were gone :(((

They should still be there... They are saved with the project just like any other envelopes/automation. Please give it a couple more tries, make sure that the envelopes are not hidden (right-click the track header and you will see the options to show/hide these envelopes). Please let me know if this problem persists for you.

Do you have the 4.0a update?

There was a bug in the initial release that would clobber fxautomation envelopes for all but the first plug-in on a bus.

Should be fixed in 4.0a.
