Subject:Problem moving track start events by minute amounts

Hi there, I'm new to the forum and acid, and my question is rather basic, however I couldn't find my answer from the manual, so hopefully I'll get an answer from someone here. Basically, I'm trying to use Acid at the moment to create a mix compilation (like I would normally do with a set of turntables) of tracks that I've recorded in from vinyl. I am recording them all in at the same tempo from the turntables, and then doing minor adjustments where necessary by pitching up/down the speed of each track. However the main problem I can't seem to figure out is how to alter the starting position of each track by a minute amount, so that I can get it starting in time to sync perfectly with the track in the background. I have snapping disabled, however I can still only seem to move the track back or forth by a regulated amount, and this is not accurate enough, as it is still snapping to the grid, even though it might be to the smallest setting possible. I'm sure what I am after must be possible to do in this software, and that I've just overlooked it. Can anyone please help? Cheers Pramesh |

pramesh, Have you tried using the 4 and 6 keys on your keyboard's keypad to "nudge" the event right or left on the timeline? The further in you are zoomed, the smaller the increment the event is moved. HTH, Nate |
