Subject:A4 and virtual guitatist

has anyone tried acid with virtual gitarist.i heard it at guitar center and it sounds awesome, i almost bought it but i want to make sure it works with a4 first.

If it can run as a VSTi (which I think it can), it shouldn't be a problem.

not every vsti does works in A4

or, some open but you cant load the presets

Ive ordered Virtual Guitarist for use in Cubase, when it arrives Ill check it out in Acid and let you know.

Sorry I forgot. VG works great in Cubase but in Acid its not much use as the Tempo syncing of VSTis in Acid doesnt work. Hopefully 4.0b will fix it.

So if your main software is Acid then I wouldnt bother for the time being.

laurence i have virt git and it works great in both cubase and logic on asking if it it worked in acid i was told "virtual guitarist was designed for use in professional music applications not toys play at your own risk" i have not had much luck whatsoever with a4 due to stability issues yet im as i write downloading 4b and
if it works and i can get virt git working ill pass on any info i can heres hoping

I guess the real question is whether or not 4.0b has added tempo syncing of VSTis. Has anyone tried 4.0b out with the "Virtual Guitarist" yet?

Just got round to updating Acid to b. Tried Virtual Guitarist everything seems OK syncs up perfectly now.
