Subject:Error message on playback. Help ?

I'm unable to operate any playback on Acid 2.0. It says that an error occured each time I try and says : The device specified is in use. I don't understand, since no other applications are in use. The software is actually useless.

Does anybody have a hint ?

In addition to what's suggested in this KB article, try also rebooting your system. Sounds like something doesn't want to let go of your soundcard.
