Now I did all the usual enabled real time midi / also external input port / plus green enable button ,and nada ,zilch nothing?

skot,

What VSTi's are you using? I will say that I use them everyday, and I haven't had any that just "don't make a sound" when I load them up. Perhaps it's a plug-in that I haven't tested yet? Please let me know which ones you are using.

HI" thanx for the reply!

The vsti's that im using are triangle II , Crystal II, Claw and TickyClav !

I just downloaded tickyclav yesterday ,thats when i ran into this problem!

But as i said in first post ive encountered this b4!

btw im running on xp! 512 ddram ! P4

P.S if i do a reinstall of AP4 would my present projects still remain on hard drive?

I have been using the Triangle, Crystal II, and Claw without a problem. The TickyClav I think I have used, but haven't really used extensivly. Does this happen with all of them? Do you have the 4.0a update for ACID yet? A number of VSTi issues were fixed in 4.0a.

Yes, you can remove/reinstall safely, ACID won't delete your saved projects.

HI" Nate....

Yes ive got ACID build (237).

Infact Acid is showing the same symptoms now! I tried the repair feature on the uninstall screen and it worked after that "but" on firing up acid once again later that night I had the same trouble!?

Holidays in the U.S. You'll need to be a little patient. :(

Yes, Thanksgiving, sorry for the delay.

I am still unable to reproduce the trouble you are having. Is it possible this is happening with ALL vsti's installed on your machine? Do you have others? Does closing and reopening the software fix the trouble?
