At first i looked at it, guy i know said it was okay but not really that good. Bought the Echo Mia, its great card - has balanced inputs (TRS) and outs plus digital ins outs but no midi. Dont buy the audigy for the mic preamp in it - its a frikin soundblaster!

In addition to what everyone's said, the Audigy does not do true 24-bit/96 kHz audio like Creative says; it does 16-bit/48 kHz internally. If you're using ACID Pro, I'd highly recommend products from M-Audio, Echo, or Terratec. (I'm sure others can pipe in with their recommendations as well.)

The one good thing the Audigy has going for it is that it can do 5.1. There are indeed enough issues with it that we had to make special mention of it in the readme a couple times, which we don't like to do since it can look like finger-pointing. I guess another thing that it has going for it is that it's a popular card, so there's lots of information about troubleshooting it...
