Hey!!! Need a question asnwered please, I need to convert a Midi music file to a MP3 file. My friend tryed explaining it to me but got odd results. He said to open the midi file and then go to render as and save it into a file. When I open the Midi file and look at the render as button it is shaded out, why does it do this and is there a differnt why of converting? I tryed just saving as and saving it as a MP3 file but when i reopen the file there is no data in the file and says only 1K of info (which is none). Thank you very much for any help at all that you can give me, |

You need to add a softsynth (the DLS softsynth include will work for this also) to the mixer and then route the MIDI Track to the softsynth. Peter |

Missed that you are using ACID 3. If you hit play in ACID, can you hear the MIDI file play? Did you draw out an event on the Track when you added the MIDI file? Peter |
