Subject:Does this OPT plugin exist?

I was experimenting the other day with importing a multi-channel midi file into Acid (which my other software will automatically break into separate tracks for me--one of my irritations with how Acid handles), applying a copy of SampleTank to that track with instruments loaded in the appropriate channels, and solo-rendering the individual tracks out by keeping the General editors tab on top on screen and just clicking into Acid's arrange area so I could render the file. Worked like a charm, and having the solo button for a midi channel helped me remember what to name the file when it rendered.

And I thought: Wouldn't it be great if I had a plugin that would just one by one render out the different midi channels for the track I've got up in the General tab? Like Acid does now with individual tracks...except it would be smart enough to break out the separate midi channels, name them automatically from the track name, and play them with whatever's loaded into SampleTank (or other multi-instrument VSTi)?

Anyone know if such a thing exists? I tried Stolen Tracks once, but it didn't quite do what I wanted. I'm thinking "Batch process this sucker to get my initial dry audio waves out." Once I have the audio files, that's when I'll do all the effects and such.

Unless you have Sonar or Cubase, Stolen Tracks is the way to go...works great altho' it is fecking confusing. You might wanna try it again if you get a chance altho' your technique seems ok as well.

I'll try Stolen Tracks again. I probably WAS confused by it at the time I tried it. Thanks for the confirmation, waynegee.
