No. The ACID DLS synth is completely software based. It is a true "softsynth".

What amazes me about the DLS synth is how low the CPU usage is. Is this a Sonic Foundry creation, or a tie into the Microsoft DLS synth? If it's a Sonic Foundry creation, how did you guys get it so efficient? I'm just amazed at how much this synth can do at once.
