Has anyone been able to get this version (3.0f) to perform video scoring like the product box says it will WITHOUT requiring the purchase of a plugin which costs almost twice what I paid for this silly program?

The box indicates it will do it in at least avi format.
It does not seem right to advertise a feature as included and then beg for money for a plug-in!

I still use Music 3.0a... and I have no such problems whatsoever. I can open an .avi file, score it, and resave it to an .avi.

What exactly is Acid Music not doing for you? Is .avi not showing up under your 'Render As' dialog?

I believe you're talking about the MPEG rendering, which is not included with ACID Music. We pay a licensing fee for use of the Main Concept MPEG Plug-in, so rather than pass those costs along to all ACID Music users we leave the choice up to the individual.
