Hey guys,

I'm mixing together a number of songs, with a beat loop used to bridge the songs together. There are slight tempo changes between each song. At the end of one song, I insert a tempo change to match up to the next song, with the inserted drum loop cover any gaps. It's all synched up and plays fine within the project, but when I export it as a wav (or any other file), a couple of the 'bridge' loops are off. This only happens on 2 out of the 10 inserted loops. Anyone ever run into this?

Thanks in advance.

Pete

Pete,

Are you using ACID 4.0a yet? If not, please download that and give it a try.

dont do it nates thread is a total misnomer acid 4 is very unstable for most people and the problem you describe happens witn version 2 3 and 4 anyway ive chopped up long vox or music parts into many pieces maybe 1 or 2 hundred retimed them all and they play fine all the parts on separate tracks yet when i mix down/render timing goes all over the place this has happened in acid 2 3 and when it works /if it works v4
which is so rare it should protected by some government law on protected species
honestley its terrible i dont know why the timing errors happen in this supposed miracle looping app but they do my solution is just to mix down go back retime go back retime mixdown go back retime go back etc
its just the same in v4 dont waste your money its a turkey theyve been trying to fix the problems for three months and they still cant get v4 to work them, selves so for nate as a member of sonic foundry staff to suggest you change to acid 4 knowing its problems is disgusting bordering on criminal
its like ford telling you the tires on the ford explorer are fine despite killing a number or folk dont be conned

Bro, did Sonic Foundry drop you on your head when you were a baby? When was the last time you posted anything except about the great SoFo conspiracy? Expressing your discontent about the software is fine and I'm sure even welcomed. But seriously you don't even try to answer anyone's questions. You just highjack every thread to tell us once again, what you have told us numerous times over the past several months. Maybe if you actually posted once in a while about making music you wouldn't be seen as a mere troll.

Let me save you the time and I'll type your response for you:

"I would post about making music if I could actually make music in ACID 4"

We've heard it before, and I'm sorry that it's not working out for you, but Jesus; this is bordering on obsessive here. I don't particularly like Fruity Loops but I don't spend my time haunting forums dedicated to FL's just to tell everyone that.

And also, if they get ACID to work properly in your eyes, will you even admit it?

just my $.02
