I've edited a movie in Vegas some time ago but I'd like to turn the soundtrack into 5.1 using Acid. Can I do that in a way other than to save every single track as a .wav/mp3 file and then opening it in Acid? |

yes and no. yes: you could mix everything down into one Wav file, but then you wouldnt be able to add effects and properly adjust the volumes of each track. no: as i said above, its suggested that you export each track as its own Wav file that way you can work on volume, effects and panning if needed. -Sin |

All signs seem to indicate that Vegas 4 will be arriving over the winter sometime and that it will include 5.1 surround mixing. So if you're not in a huge hurry, you might want to see what V4 has when it arrives. |
