Subject:cannot view wave form

hello, when i open up a new song it does not display the wave form....i have to use the draw tool to bring it on the screen..... why is it like this?

ACID lets you "paint" the loops on the screen. The intention is that you'll be adding small bits of music and placing them where you want to within the song. It's very rare that you'd want to open a file and have it start at the beginning of the song and continue through to the end of the file.
