Subject:Batch Converter crash with too many files (?)

For a reason we are not able to determine, Batch Converter 5.0b chokes on processing more than a certain number of files. There's plenty of disk space. We were converting about 950 files, when it just froze in mid-processing. Nothing was lost and we were able to resume after restarting Batch Converter.

It happened once after about 240 files, and the second time after 600 files or so. We are now converting in smaller batches. Bug?

Thanks!

What is the format you're converting to?

Batch Converter freezes with any video conversion to Real or Quick Time (a problem which SoFo doesn't seem to be too concerned with). It's a shame, because this could be one kickin' program...there's jsut a bug or two that need to be worked out. (Hopefully soon).

Actually all we were doing is audio: EQ and Normalizing.
