Subject:Unable to record 24-bit with Wami Rack 192X

I have the latest versions of all the flagship SF products. I've posted in the other groups but someone suggested I post over here since there might be more people with Wami. I can record 24-bit in Sound Forge but, with what appear to be exactly the same settings, not in Vegas. The record meter doesn't move above -Inf. If I switch to 16-bit then everything works fine.

Any ideas as to why there would be a difference? Any thoughts, or experience with this card?

Sorry, I'm not using the Wamirack 192, but I do have the older
Wamirack 24 and it works fine recording 24 bit in all SF applications.

The latest driver for these units seems to be the same but perhaps
there are some extra settings in the 192 control panel.
Have you contacted Egosys? Maybe they know something.

Which OS are you using?
I've heard that WIndows 2000 has can't record in 24 bit.

Hope you can solve the problem.

Thanks for the suggestions. I've found I can record 24-bit in ACID using the ASIO drivers, but not with the regular drivers. It's the same as Vegas if I don't use ASIO--no audio at all at 24-bit. I've e-mailed ESI about it.

I'm running Windows XP Pro sp1 and Vegas 3.0c.
