Subject:Acid Pro 4.0a and CPU Load

I'm just curious as to what CPU load you guys are getting when you playback songs in Acid using Windows XP. I know this will vary depending on FX and tracks.

When I'm playing a VSTi in real-time I get a CPU load of around 10-15% which seems high to me. Here are my specs:

P3 III 733mhz
384 MB
XP Professional
Audiophile 2496

CPU load is going to vary for each and every VSTi you use. I don't think 10-15% is really all that high for some of the higher quality VSTi's on a P3 733MHz. Have you used the Lounge Lizard yet? It uses significantly more CPU time than you are describing when used in ACID or in standalone mode, but man does it sound excellent!
