Whereas this is NOT a list from 1. to 5. - I use all of these filters often.

Here are my most used plugs

1-Brightness and contrast
2-HSL
3-Cookie cutter
4-Chroma key
5-Color Balance

Transitions no? ;-)

Thanks.

Cookie cutter could be improved with custom masks, not only circle, rectangle, arrows, but custom masks (bitmaps and video).

Thanks

Josaver.

A little off topic, but I think a lot of us would LOVE a method to apply a transition across a range of still images all at once instead of having to do them one at a time.
josaver wrote on 11/13/2002, 12:27 PM
Yes, it's a good idea.

And a way to change the default transition...

And change the properties of a group of clips, for example change the pixel aspect ratio or the upper/lower field. Or apply the pan/crop on a group, not one at a time. Or apply a mask inside the event, not by the actual track method.

Thanks.

Josaver.

Color curves,hsl
seems no slower than anyone elses software based, but 75% of most render time for me is color correcting,,yeah I need to check that field monitor a little more.

Just a note:

Much of the time I CAN'T use a tripod. I don't mean that I DON'T, I literally mean I CAN'T for various reasons.

Of ALL the processing I do, the following three things are the most used:

SteadyHand stabilization from www.dynapel.com
Pan/Tilt (rotation), in VV 3.0c bld 138
Noise Reduction 2.0, in SoundForge 6.0

Then I get to the ordinary things which I mentioned earlier in this thread, above. Sure wish you could integrate SteadyHand, Rotation, and NoiseReduction in such a way that I didn't have to spend so much time using them. I am constantly ducking into and out of each of my programs, and it sure eats up my day.
