I should just download each and decide, but my ACID computer is in the shop, in the meantime, considering a new softsynth. I could not find samples of the pro-53 on the NI site. Do both these work with acid, and if you had to choose one, which one would it be? L |

I can vouch for the Fm7 sounds as well, VErrrry nice... but Pro53 is great as well, more "80s" sounding, I think....a little more techno... |

create a midi track, duplicate it then assign a different instrument to each. you should hear both vsti playing the same midi info. |

I've used both. The FM7 is better if you're a preset user. The pro-53 is better if you're a tweaker or an analog lover. Get your PC back and try the demos, NI demo limitations let you have a realistic evaluation. |

Get them both if you have the $ FM7 and Pro 53 work very well in Acid 4.0a. Also go to check out Synth 1 its a very good sounding analog synth and its free! http://www.kvr-vst.com/news.php?id=621 George |
