I am still very new to the world of midi. I recorded midi tracks in acid using one soft synth, but I want to play them back on a different one. I have found how to route them to the new soft synth (DLS), but I cant find how to change the patch within that synth. Where is the patch info for that track? |

cant you just replace the first with the second instead of all that routing? |

I believe the program change must be part of the midi track. |

but if s.he recorded a midi part using a vsti, the performance info is what was recorded. switching vsti should be like switching a patch. the performance hasn't changed. |

Search the forum. Changing DLS patches has been covered several times. There may even be a tutorial on Sonic Foundry's web site about it by now. TeeCee |
