OK - i'm missing something simple. i had ACID 4 pro for 6 weeks ... i have 2 loop CD's .. when i try to put any loop into ACID timeline a Audio track opens with NO audio on it . it has the name of the loop but again NO audio ?? i can put the loops into VV and it plays ? been using loops in VV for past month. i looked in KNOWLEGE BASE couldn't find anything ?
Acid will open and play acid 8 packs ... however it will not allow me to put any of those loops into a different project.

ACID just will add the tracks to the trackview. You will need to paint or draw in the timeline view to add the tracks to the timeline.

The acid 8 packs are generally full ACID projects with the loops already drawn out, which is why that seems to be the only part working.

Hope that helps.
Happy mixing.

"After you've added media to your project to create a track, you can use the Draw tool or Paint tool to create events in the timeline.

The Draw tool adds events to a single track at a time. You can drag the Paint tool across multiple tracks to create events on several tracks at once..."

This is from ACID4 help/contents/editing events.../adding events...

or see page 34 of the PDF manual

almost anything you need to know is within these two documents(help or pdf manual)
a few hours of reading will save you months of time. :)
