I don't know if any of you guys use acidplanet.com or anything but last night I went and bought Acid Music 3.0 (I had previously had acid music 2.0 which I still have yet to master). So anyhow Acidplanet has these remixing contest. So before I installed Acid Music 3 I downloaded the contest loops put them in program files and unzipped em and everything then I loaded the Acid Music 3. And for some reason I thought the download was 100 percent complete but I know that there are some vocals that I don't have (cause i hear them in the other contestant remixes). Should I have installed the 3.0 before I did the downloading of the loops, also in the when i was downloading there was something you could download as well in the loops category it said "acid 3.0 project file" what exactly is this? Also I was under the impression that I could use my 2.0 loops in the 3.0 this doesn't seem to work, and I have 2.0 songs that I had made don't work or that I can't find in the 3.0 what I am doing wrong ?? It's really frustrating to me and I can't figure it out. I'd love some feedback and advice to get me started with this thing and understanding it. -K |

Hello kpc3000- All of your acd project made with version 2.0 should be able to open in version 3.0... keep in mind, though, it's not backwards compatible so if you save in version 3.0 you will not be able to open in version 2. As far as your download from ACIDPlanet is concerned... I'm assuming you are trying to enter the Frou Frou remix contest. Please note that there are 2 separate downloads of vocal samples so perhaps you did not download both. Try downloading again and see if you pick up what you missed. Hope that helps. Happy mixing. -Jenn |
