The only way I've figured out to do this is to use the "stolen track" OPT plugin to reassemble the track. Acid's midi implementation is rudimentary at best. http://www.genevoice.com/Software/software.htm Laurence Kingston |

Ive try out that software, but it seems to not solve my problem or am I not doing it right? What I wanted is if I have a bass track, and I only wanted some parts (loop) and the remove the rest, then re arrange using the selected bass loop from the midi track, then save it as a new bass "midi" track with the same pattern/arrangements. |

ACID will not permit you to do this, as there is no render MIDI tracks to a new MIDI file. Peter |

You could either render the results to a new digital audio file (solo the track, set the Loop Region over the region you wish to bounce down and use CTRL+M) or simply save the modified MIDI track with a new name using the Save As button under the MIDI track's properties. (Your best bet would be to duplicate a track before saving as a new MIDI file.) HTH, Iacobus |
