Subject:Trouble with saving loops

Hi. I'm brand new at Sound Forge. I'm having trouble when I try to save loops in mp3 format. I get a real clean loop all set but when I save it, it seems to add a little space before and after the sample and causes a stutter on play back. Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong?

Thanks

AFAIK that's what MP3 does - space at the end. It's really for playing back a single file, like a song. If you want loops for use in other apps use wav.

AFAIK, that's not what MP3 does, that's what SF does. If you save as a wav out of SF and use a different program, such as MusicMatch to convert that to MP3 it comes out just fine.
