after I slowed the song down that I imported into acid, I wanted to do some more editting in sound forge, but it brought me back to the same original tempo. How do I get the changed tempo to play in sound forge? |

Are you just editing the song externally from ACID into Sound Forge? It sounds like Sound Forge is just reading the info already embedded into the file; it takes a file at face value. ACID, on the other hand, will change audio on the fly based upon settings in the project rather than what's embedded in the file (depending on the track type anyway). Try soloing that track and using the File>Render As command on the menu bar in ACID. (You can use WAV or PCA for lossless audio.) Then open that up in Sound Forge. It should sound identical to how it sounded in ACID. You can then make your edits and bring that back into ACID as a One-shot. (ACID leaves One-shots alone as far as tempo and key info goes.)
