Track Optimized (I believe) is supposed to reference that they use less CPU so you can use more of them. Is it hype? Try running a few and check the CPU hit. I use them and don't much think about it. TeeCee |

A track optmized plug in is one that has a private interface that permits our apps to stream audio data very efficiently to plugins. It permits silence optimization and a very simple/low overhead interface. Peter |

Not really. Track optimized are as the name implies: Optimized for tracks. Note also, if you use a non-track optmized plug on a track, all track optmized plugs on that track are no-longer used in track optimized mode. Peter |
