Subject:Batch Converter AutoCopy Metadata

Is it possible to automatically copy the appropriate metadata from the source file to the target file. I see how to manually add metadata on the Scripts page in the Metadata section, but is it possible to take the metadata from the source file and add it to the target file automatically?
