Hi, I was editing with the plugin chainer tonight and I accidently click somewhere on my screen (can't remember where) and suddenly my main wave editing window no longer blends into the background of my plugin chainer window. If I try to move my plugin chainer window up, my main wave editing window shrinks to make room for the plugin chainer, does anyone know of any way to fix this or to reset my soundforge's layout setting to its factory setting? thanks for reading |

I don't know if this will help you but when the chainer is porposefuly or accidently dragged above the waveform window it docks to the tool bar. Find the chainer and drag it back down by the left side, you then will be able to close it, OR, find the tiny "x" close icon to quit the chainer. You may have to temporarily close the level meter to see it. Or, View/Audio Plug-in Chainer or Alt+9 to open and close. |

If I'm reading what you said correctly, just click on the Restore/Maximize/Minimize button in the upper right of the data window. Cheers, Joel |
