Anyone know what thisa is all about "There is no disk in the drive" ERROR
It happens upon launch

I get that sometimes too. I don't know exactly what causes it, but I know that it's related to the Apple Quicktime Pro 6 which I installed on my system. I uninstalled Quicktime and the problem went away. I reinstalled Quicktime, and I get that Error again. Not always, but enough to be irritating. I only get it when my external Firewire drives are connected as well.

i see it too from time to time, on clean machines, no quicktime installed...strange..does anybody have a clue ?

If you've ever used a file straight from a CD or a floppy, you may get this issue. Check your Recently used project list for offending files. Maybe reduce your Recently used project list count to one to clear the offending files out.
