so AP4 had been crashing on me after a few takes of recording guitar. then I downoaded the new Mia driver at Echo. All is fine. Then today I recorded 1 track, and without erasing the first, I arm another track.....boom, loud buzzin in headphones, and then massive crash. Reboot. same thing. over and over again. I hope whatever the hell this is is fixed for b. |

Are you using ASIO? That sounds like something that I used to see with the Gina20 and the older drivers. If a program crashed while using ASIO, then I tried to reopen and use the card again, I would get loud noise until I rebooted the machine. All was well after that. This never happened with the standard Wave drivers. Nate |

yeah this is the updated 6.04 ASIO driver from Echo. The thing is, Cubase VST 5.1 is solid as a rock. It's something to do with AP4 and ASIO. It was better for awhile, then this morning I nearly go deaf when it crashes because of the loud sound. Really irritating. I love this program, but it's really testing my patience with how much I'm willing to put up with it before I ditch it to go to another app. |
