This Happened While Downloading from "Get Media" Bill Laswell Pk. 1
XP Pro. 512 mb ram. 30 gb HD. Bellsouth DSL 4.0 mbps connection.
Only programs running: Acid and IE 6
Only 1 new program installled in past 60 days...CD Arch, Beta. (was not running)

If you get no immediate response here from SF, try contacting Tech Support directly via email. Where as SF may read in the forums, this is not their main support. This is kind of for us to help us and I doubt any of us can work with that.

I was regularly downloading the GetMedia and 8Packs but not uncompressing them until I got enough of them to copy over to CD. I've got about four of these (two of them Laswell stuff) that give me "corrupted" errors when I try to unzip them. And, of course, now they're gone. I don't know if this corruption was a download problem or a problem with the original files.

This happened about 15 sec. into the dnld. I am not having a problem with Acid today. I have read about the problems w/Acid 4 on this fourum. I must add that this is the first problem I have had with Acid 4. I don't really need tech support unless this starts happening as a pattern. I though the SOFO people would like to know. And I do wonder what it means. So as of now, no real worries.
